Porta Ostiense

At present this gate it is called Porta San Paolo; it has two barrel-vault on the side facing the city centre, but on the external side, reconstructed by Honorius, the gate has one barrel-vault scaled by a gallery with windows and embrasures. The gate has on both sides two big cylindrical towers and it is crowned by a battlement.
